November 26, 2008 (ROANOKE COUNTY) – The Roanoke County Fire Marshal has determined a fire in the chimney that extended to the wooden elements of the home caused a house fire Tuesday afternoon in Roanoke County on Old Mountain Road.
The house is a total loss and the damages are estimated at $180,000 for the house and its contents.
The missing cat was found and perished in the fire.
