PRINCE GEORGE, VA NBC12 – Hunting experts are warning others to be extra careful after two deadly hunting accidents happened over the weekend.
On Friday, a 62-year-old Patrick County man died after his rifle went off. He was getting ready to go hunting with his son. Officials he died instantly.
Then on Saturday afternoon, a retired Chesterfield firefighter accidentally shot himself in the leg while hunting in Prince George County. Officials say Frank Marsay got separated from his hunting party when he accidentally shot himself with his shotgun.
