Campbell County rescue workers help at Inauguration

Keeping the inauguration safe will require help from police and emergency workers from around the country.

Part of that assistance is coming from our region.

Two members of the Campbell County Rescue Squad are traveling to Northern Virginia.

Jason Stroud and Frank Smith will be working with the Alexandria Fire Department.

Stroud and Smith will back up crews as they handle what’s expected to be a large increase in 911 calls.
