An Augusta County family lost their home Friday afternoon to a devastating fire. Neighbors reported seeing smoke billowing from the house on Brushy Knob Lane near Verona.
Firefighters arrived to find the house fully engulfed in flames. There are no nearby hydrants so tanker trucks hauled water in to the scene.
