2 dead after a boat capsizes in the

bay

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Coast Guard officials responded to a capsized boat off Lynnhaven Inlet in Virginia Beach on Wednesday morning. Beach police tell WAVY.com that two people have died as a result.

The two who died have been identified as Allen Dedrick, 69, who was the boat’s owner and Ned Rokey, 89. According to police, all six men are from Arizona and come to Virginia Beach a couple times a year on fishing trips.
