Tones sounded on Jan. 29 around 10:17 p.m. for a structure fire at 511 Oliver Road.
Responding were Company 4 (Prospect),Company 2 (Hampden-Sydney) and Company 1 (Farmville).
Engine 4-1 arrived first on scene and reported a two story garage fully involved.
The garage was located approximately 50 yards from trees with no other exposures.
Prospect 403 had command,which requested a water shuttle and an aggressive defensive attack was launched.
Units on scene included: Engine 4-1,Engine 4-2,Engine 4-3,Tanker 4-5,Tanker 4-6,Utility 4,Auxiliary 4,Engine 2-1,Engine 2-2,Tanker 2-6,Engine 1-2,Tanker 1-5,PEVRS Medic 1 and Air 50.
No one was evacuated,no injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
