Fairfax County and Prince William County Firefighters Battle House Fire

On Tuesday morning units from Fairfax County, Fairfax City and Prince William County responded to a house fire at 13135 Compton Road in Clifton.

Units arrived to find a 2 story, single family dwelling, with heavy fire showing. Due to the ruralness of the dispatched address a Tanker Task Force was requested, summoning resources from throughout the county, with additional assistance from Prince William County Station 16.

The fire took approximately 45 minutes to control. There were no injuries reported.

Units On The Box:
1st Alarm: Engine Companies 416, 417, 432 & 438, Tower Ladder 440, Truck Company 403, Rescue Company 421, Ambulance 416, Medic 438, EMS Captains 403 & 407, Battalion Chiefs 403 & 407.

Tanker Task Force Assignment:
Engine Company 421, Foam Engine 403, Tankers 416, 441 & 420, Engine and Tanker 516 (PWC) and Battalion Chief 504 (PWC)

Assist:
Operations Deputy Chief, Safety 401, Truck 438, Field Training Officer 401 & Operations 406
