CHESTERFIELD, VA (NBC12) – A five-story motel was evacuated because of a fire in Chesterfield Saturday.
It broke out around 3:00 p.m. on the outside of the building.
Apparently, a tarp on the roof caught fire.
No one was hurt, and all of the guests were able to return to the hotel.
Fire officials say fighting flames in a building with multiple stories can be a challenge.
