Technical Rescue Team comes together to train

HANOVER, VA (WWBT) – Firefighters from all across the area gathered Thursday for a training exercise.

The Central Virginia Technical Rescue Team consists of 100 firefighters from Hanover, Henrico, Chesterfield, and Richmond.

In just the past nine months NBC12 has covered three major incidents that Central Virginia’s Technical Team has had to respond to: two building collapses, one in Chester and one in Richmond, and then a trench rescue in Richmond. That’s what these firefighters are training for.
