-I.C. takes the front of the fire building with his buggy, blocking all apparatus.
-All personnel move around like they are on their way to Sunday services. I don’t advocate running on the fireground but let’s pretend we want to stop the fire from growing any larger.
-Was there hydrant or pump problems? It was taking forever to get water in the line.
-Everyone stretched a handline (three lines) before I finally saw a guy with a ground ladder. It looked like it was getting pretty juicy in there. Venting ahead of the line would be a great thing to do as soon as the boys have water and are ready to go.
I saw that PPV nonsense placed out front … beware!
-Bread and butter guys, get back to basics. And … hey chief, next time pull the ‘ol buggy into a driveway ….
