PORTSMOUTH, Va. – Portsmouth Fire crews responded to a multi-apartment fire at around 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
The fire broke out on Emmons Place. Portsmouth Fire spokesperson Cpt. Paul Hoyle tells WAVY.com the fire involved multiple apartments and one person was injured and taken to Maryview Hospital where she is listed in critical condition.
