Store owners left with nothing after Bedford County fire

An investigation is underway at a strip mall in Bedford County.  The Jefferson Business Center on Route 221, otherwise known as Forest Road, caught on fire Saturday night.

Six businesses had shops in the mall, including a nail salon, a Farm Bureau office, a skate shop, a bike shop, a tattoo parlor, and a weightloss center.  Some of the store owners didn’t have insurance.  Now, everything is gone.

Shop owners came to see the damage for themselves Sunday afternoon.
