2 workers rescued from scaffolding

FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) – Fairfax County fire officials say two construction workers were rescued after they lost control of scaffolding 25 floors up a condominium.

It happened Wednesday about 5:10 p.m. in the 5500 block of Seminary Road.

Lt. Raul Castillo of Fairfax County Fire and Rescue says the two men were working on scaffolding 25 stories up when they lost control of it. The scaffolding was hanging perpendicular to the building.
