Amherst County, VA – A fire Saturday night in Amherst County left a local businessman with nothing. Bernard Campbell builds custom cabinetry, but didn’t have fire insurance. He says he didn’t think it was worth the price, given today’s economy. Bernard Campbell is the owner of Bernie’s Furniture and Cabinetry. He says, “they had five trucks here but they still couldn’t save it, couldn’t get her in time to save anything.”
