Wytheville Fire Department responds to multiple accidents. First accident occurred on July 21st I-81 Mile Marker 68 in the medium strip, No injuries. Second accident occurred on July 22nd I-81 Southbound Mile Marker 73. Two injuries with entrapment. Both patients were medivac to area Trauma Centers. Third accident occurred on July 23rd, when the driver of a truck pulling a double wide mobile home died in a single-vehicle accident around noon today (Thursday) at the 43 mile marker on Interstate 77.
