HALL, Clarence W., of Amelia, passed from this life on July 15, 2009. He is survived by his wife Betty J.; two children, Jeff Hall of North Carolina and Gloria J. Williams of Chesterfield; five grand- children, Chelsea, Luke, Hunter, Sherri and Chris; brothers, Ronald of Mineral, Thomas of Madison Heights, Garland of Amelia; sisters, Bell Miles and Rose Oney of Apex, N.C. He was preceded in death by his parents, John E. and Annie Hall; three brothers, and one sister. He was a retired fireman with the Richmond City Fire Dept and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam era. Funeral services 1 p.m. on Friday at the Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home, with interment following in the Virginia Veterans Cemetery. Visiting at the funeral home Thursday, 6 to 8 p.m.
