Multiple calls began flooding the emergency communications center reporting the fire.
Crews arrived on scene and discovered heavy fire through the roof.Command reported a resident was home but had gotten out safely.
Five inch supply was in place, aerial ladder trucks ready, hand lines stretched and crews launched an aggressive interior attack.
The battle would not be easy. Due to worsening conditions and the danger of roof collapse evacuation tones were sounded and the battle became defensive.
The fire was soon marked under control.
No injuries were reported.
