Thursday was a busy day for Chilhowie’s bravest. Two MVC’s culminated with flyouts by Medflight II. Chilhowie Firefighters run a great website that is updated regularly with great photos!

The patient was loaded on VA Med-Flight II for transport.

The first (link): Chief 201, Engine 252, and Medic 258 responded to the 40 mile marker of Interstate 81 north bound for a reported Motor Vehicle Collision involving a motorcycle. Upon arrival, units found the patient lying in the roadway near the motorcycle.

The second (link): Chief 201, Engine 252, Medic 258, and Medic 259 responded to the 38 mile marker Interstate 81 north bound for a reported Motor Vehicle Collision w/ rollover and entrapment. Units cleared the previous MVC they were on and responded.
