Taxi cab crashes into Roanoke fire station

A taxi driver and a suspected robber are recovering after their van crashed into a firehouse.

The wreck happened just after 8 p.m. Monday. Police say the passenger in a Yellow Cab tried to rob the driver. As they struggled, the van crashed into Fire Station Number One on Franklin Road.
