USAFireTrucks.com Launches – Special for VA

A few weeks ago, we launched a new website to help departments trying to buy or sell fire apparatus.

The site is a collaboration of three existing regional fire service news sites.

VAFireNews.com has been assisting departments that have used apparatus for sale advertise those units for the past several years.

We have taken this model and launched a national site for all departments to participate in: USAFireTrucks.com.

We are joined in this venture by two web veterans: Jeff Harkey (FireNews.net) and Grant Mishoe (SCFireWire.com, formerly SConFire.com). The new venture is owned and operated by Tri-State Fire Media, LLP.

In addition to listing used apparatus for sale from departments, we have expanded on the program and are now also listing new stock and demo units directly from select manufacturers. Apparatus brokers are also now beginning to participate, as the reach and exposure of the site grows daily.

To kick off this new site, VAFireNews.com is extending a special offer to Virginia fire departments, rescue squads, life saving crews,  and other fire/EMS public safety departments that may be looking to sell a piece of used apparatus. From now until December 31, 2009, we are offering a 50% off advertising special. List your unit at half of the normal rate, and the unit will remain on  USAFireTrucks.com until the unit is sold. The details are available on the new site.

We have a very simple on-line form for submitting apparatus. Review our Terms and Conditions and our Frequently Asked Questions for further information.

We have already established an impressive inventory of engines, aerials, rescues, special units as well as some smaller equipment. Several brand new stock units are now available from American LaFrance, Darley, FES, KME, M&W Fire and Wheeled Coach.

All entries are organized by category and logical “tags” for easy reference. All the contact information you need to inquire on a unit is provided, along with a handy button to generate a PDF document for individual listings.

If you have a unit to list, be sure to contact us before December 31st to take advantage of the limited offer.
