At 12:06, Abingdon Fire was dispatched to a residential structure fire in the 17000 block of Ridgeview Drive. Upon arrival, Flames were seen coming from the roof. Damascus and Meadowview Fire Departments were requested to assist. The house was a total loss and the cause is believed to be a skillet accidentally left on the kitchen stove. Washington County Life Saving Crew assisted in the call.
