Roanoke Fire-EMS Responds to Buford Ave. Fire

On Wednesday, February 3, 2010, Roanoke Fire-EMS responded to a
structure fire at 2313 Buford Ave. The call was received in the
E-911 Center at approximately 3:06 p.m.

When crews arrived, they found heavy smoke coming from the home.
Crews worked to put the fire out and ventilate the structure.

Crews performed a search and didn’t find anyone in the house. There
were no injuries to civilians or Fire-EMS personnel.

There is no one living in the house at this time. The house
sustained heavy smoke and water damage. The cause and origin of the
fire are under investigation. Damage estimates are not available at
this time.
