At 0347 Roanoke Fire-EMS responded to 2325 Circle Drive. Upon arrival crews found heavy fire and smoke in the residence. After an agressive interior attack the fire was under control at 0407. Due to the large
volume of fire units were still on the scene at daybreak. The response included 3 ladder trucks, 5 engine, 3 medic units, the service truck, 2 Battalion Chiefs, 2 Administrative chiefs and 1 medical supervisor for a total of 38 personnel. The house was unoccupied at the time of the fire. There were no civilian injuries, and 1 firefighter suffered a minor muscle strain. Damage estimates are $140,000. A cause is yet to be determined.
