Wytheville and Bland County Fire Departments respond to a camper fire on I77 Northbound at Mile Marker 47 on July 10th, 2010. Crews were dispatch at 10:45am. Crews arrived to find the camper already fully involved. Crews were on scene for approx 2Hrs. Both Northbound lanes were closed for approx 1hr, resulting in a 15-20mile back-up. Crews were also happened due to both Fuel lines and propane tanks were burned into resulting in a large diesel fuel leak. For further information contact Wytheville Public Safety.
