Tones sounded around 5:20 p.m. on Sept.5 dispatching Engine 11 to a vehicle fire at Irongate and Briaroak roads.
Heavy fire could be seen from the engine and interior of the pickup truck.
A hand line was quickly stretched and with a swift blast of water the fire was conquered.
The fire is under investigation.
