As the holiday season is upon us and it often requires our military personnel to be away from home, I would like to take a moment to recognize and acknowledge all of our veterans past, present and future for their service to our Nation and for their personal sacrifices.  For that reason, I wanted to highlight two very important programs which are designed to support those in military service and they are ParadeRestVA  (http://paraderestva.org/) and the Virginia Wounded Warrior Program (http://www.wearevirginiaveterans.org).  The ParadeRestVA program is designed to offer tickets to entertainment venues for returning veterans and their families as a way of showing our gratitude for their service.  The Virginia Wounded Warrior Program is setup to help those that have returned home and have been wounded in combat.  Please take a moment to visit these websites and show your appreciation to the dedicated men and women in the military.

Additionally, I am in the process of developing a large sign that will be installed inside HQ to say thanks to our military brothers and sisters.

A special appreciation to all the members of the Charlottesville Community who are active military and/or veterans.  I cannot put into words the gratitude that I have for your dedication and service.

The members of CFD will be keeping our military brothers and sisters in our thoughts and prayers that they return home safely.
