CAROLINE COUNTY —

“I noticed oh my god her house is on fire,” said neighbor Kay Braswell as she looked on at the smoldering home.

Around four on Sunday neighbors say they started to panic. They say the realized the elderly woman who lived next door’s house was in flames and they believed she was inside.

“She was a great person,” says neighbor Tiphany Wilson about the victim.

Firefighters aren’t confirming an identity yet, but did say that one of the residents of the home died in the fire. They say often because mobile home are small fires inside them become hard to contain.
