This morning (Monday), Veteran Firefighter Jonathan Myers, 54, was found unconscious in the bunkroom of the West Ocean View firehouse #13 in Norfolk. Fellow firefighters immediately began life saving measures and Myers was transported to DePaul Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The Norfolk Fire and Rescue Department is mourning his death. Myers had been with the department for 20 years.
