GIBSON, Stuart Eugene “Bubba,” 79, of Mechanicsville, went to be with the Lord, March 21, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife, Diane; and his daughter, Deborah. He is survived by his daughter, Robin Walsh; his sons, Kevin and his wife, Robin, and Steven Gibson; grandchildren, Chase Gibson, Kristi Walsh, Nicole Walsh. He retired as a Fire Captain for the City of Richmond after 37 years of service, a VFW member, U.S. Navy veteran, and a member of Atlee Community Church. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Atlee Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, Route 301 and Shady Grove Rd., on Sunday, March 25. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 26, at the funeral home. Interment Washington Memorial Park. Condolences at:
