BROWN, Bertram B. Jr.,
69, of Henrico, has “Gone” to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 19, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Judy R. Brown; his daughter, Jennifer Carey Maxwell; his grandson, Timothy D. Maxwell. He is also survived by his dog, Cuddles; and his granddogs, Annie and Cinnamon; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. Bert retired from the Division of Fire of Henrico County after serving for 31 years. He was a lifetime member of St. John’s United Church of Christ and served his church family in so many ways. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 503 Stuart Circle, Richmond, Va., with a luncheon and visitation following the service. Interment will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to TheNational Kidney Foundation or The Diabetes Association in his memory.
