On May 27 at 3:16 a.m., Henrico County Division of Fire were dispatched to a house on fire at  10 Beulah Road. First on scene reported fire showing with flames about 30 feet in the air.

Captain Jim Mellon of Henrico County Division of Fire said the house appeared to be vacant and crews made the initial attack from the exterior, knocking the bulk of fire down from the rear of the home. Fire crews made entry and found a significant volume of fire in the front of the house on the second floor. Firefighting efforts were slowed when they made it to the second floor due to holes in the floor. The fire was marked under control in about 50 minutes. No injuries were reported.

Damage to the home is extensive with a complete loss of the second floor and significant smoke and water damage to the first. Henrico County Fire Marshal responded to the scene to determine the cause of this blaze.
