PULASKI, Va. — A firefighter who died after working at a house fire suffered an intracranial hemorrhage, investigators found.
Firefighter Jeffrey H. Reed, of the Pulaski Fire Department, Virginia, complained of a headache while cleaning up the incident scene on June 4 last year.

Pulaski firefighter Jeffrey Reed was laid to rest on Friday June 12th. Several hundred people were in attendance for his funeral including firefighters from around Southwest Virginia. Firefighter Jeff Reed succumbed to injury/illness he was affected by while operating at a house fire. Roanoke City and Roanoke County Honor Guard assisted with the funeral.
