The Henrico County Divison of Fire is seeking a Recruitment Specialist for it’s department of 550 sworn and civilian personnel, who answer 40,000 annual calls for service in a county of 310,000 residents and visitors. This is a newly created position that will coordinate and support a workforce that will meet the needs of an increasingly diverse community.
- Bachelor’s Degree in public administration or a field directly related to the position
- Three years of responsible, directly-related, work experience (prefer supervisory experience)

Seeking qualified applicants to fill Full-Time and Relief Firefighter/EMT positions with the Lynchburg Fire Department. All candidates will complete 16-20 weeks of paid training. Successful Full-Time candidates would move directly into full-time positions, while Relief individuals would work (and be paid) as needed. These Relief positions could lead to full-time positions with paid benefits in the future. Both groups would perform both fire suppression and emergency service duties, including operating emergency equipment and performing emergency medical duties.
